Media Room @ Teaching Lab

The Media Room is a do-it-yourself recording space in the TU Delft Teaching Lab, designed specifically for TU Delft educators who want to create media for their teaching. It offers practical and accessible facilities to develop clear, engaging and reusable educational materials.

The Media Room is developed and supported in collaboration with the New Media Centre, the Teaching Academy and Teaching and Learning Services.

The room offers three stations for different types of recordings:

Lightboard Station
Explain concepts visually while staying connected to your students. Use the transparent board to write, draw and guide students through complex content step by step.

Greenscreen Video Station
Record educational videos with a professional look and feel. The Video Station is especially useful for green screen recordings, course introductions, knowledge clips and videos that combine presentation with visual materials.

Podcast Station
Create audio materials that help students engage with course content through conversation, reflection and storytelling. The Podcast Station is set up around a round table and equipped with three microphones, making it especially suitable for conversations, interviews and small group discussions.
