DUT25 – Rollout

The brief
We regularly work with TU Delft Dream Teams: student-led teams that spend a year developing ambitious new technologies. Their projects range from solar-powered boats to exoskeletons and electric race cars. A big part of that work is supporting their live presentations, reveals, and demonstrations.

Behind the scenes
Most of these productions take place in the Auditorium on campus, but some projects ask for a very different setup. For DUT25, the rollout happened on the Markt in the centre of Delft, which brought its own production challenges. Outdoor livestreams always require extra preparation. Power supply, internet connection, weather conditions, audience positioning, and equipment protection all have to be considered in advance. At the same time, we work closely with the student team on the creative side: camera angles, graphics, and the overall build-up of the show.

Why this one stood out
This is the kind of project that keeps us sharp. The content is strong from the start, but the location changes everything. It asks us to stay flexible, solve problems quickly, and still make room for the reveal to feel polished and exciting. That combination of technical challenge and live energy is what makes these productions fun to do.
