For TU Delft’s Opening of the Academic Year, a single evocative image anchored a comprehensive visual identity—from website banners and email invites to animations, printed materials, and spatial projections. Led by one dedicated designer in collaboration with Live Events, the graphics team wove a cohesive language of color, rhythm, and motion to ensure every touchpoint emotionally resonated. Sound design elevated animated segments, while coordination across teams delivered a polished, immersive experience that transformed a moment into a memorable message.

The NewMedia Centre and Mexico’s Monterrey Institute of Technology piloted holographic teaching, projecting life-sized remote teachers into classrooms. Using cameras, projectors and software, the system enabled realistic remote lectures, presentations and meetings, opening new possibilities for immersive, borderless education.

At TU Delft, Jeroen Boots bridges architecture and immersive technology. Driven by how spaces shape human experience, he uses VR to turn abstract ideas into environments students can step inside—designing not flashy demos, but meaningful learning moments that truly resonate and last.
