For the XR Bachelor End Project, we worked with students from Industrial Design Engineering on a video production connected to their final project.

Behind the scenes
The source material for this project is limited, but like many student-driven productions, the work sat in translating a project outcome into a visual format that could present it clearly and professionally.

Why this one stood out
Projects like this are always interesting because they connect directly to student work and experimentation. They are often smaller in scale, but they show a very hands-on side of what we do.

A Virtual 360° Experience by TU Delft AI Labs & Talent Programme

September 25, 2024

In response to COVID-19, the TU Delft AI Labs & Talent Programme moved their poster event online, partnering with the XR Zone to create a 360° virtual walkthrough. This interactive platform showcased research from 24 Delft AI Labs, overcoming challenges with 360° imagery and 3D models. The project expanded to include new labs, research, and pitch videos, paving the way for future virtual events.

Teacher – Classroom Simulator using AI

In collaboration with Hogeschool Fontys, TU Delft, and XR Zone, we developed an AI-driven Teacher Classroom Simulator for didactics courses. The project explores how VR can enhance teacher training by offering immersive classroom experiences with real-time feedback. Virtual students simulate authentic behaviour, helping educators refine their skills. By prioritising practical applications, the platform aims to make innovative, immersive education accessible and adaptable to diverse teaching contexts.
